JPT Hi, please try to find out your exact hardware. Use 'lspci -t -v -nn' for example. For my hardware this is Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5753M Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express 14e4:16fd Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Golan Network Connection 8086:4222 while both are supported by the kernel, I am not sure if LAN is supported by android-x86 at all. I believe the maintainers are working on it. My WLAN does not work yet, since i am having trouble compiling the tools. I hope this is of. Hi, please try to find out your exact hardware.

This maybe because I made the Android boot disk from Windows – hence FAT32. I read Android x86 may (still) have a problem writing changes if installed on a FAT32 partition. THEREFORE: Perhaps if someone tries to make a ext3/ext4 boot disk from linux there may be ‘persistence’. Working: Wifi (2.4 & 5Ghz) & Bluetooth. Hoping someone here has experience with adding wireless drivers to Android 4.0. I have an [eeePC.

Then you have to check in which image this driver is included. For the LAN adapter you need a LAN patch to include the menus and software for using a LAN adapter in android. See FIRST (or LAST?) message in this thread: Easiest to find out, would be a checkout of the whole project. Start here: in the devices folder you may check the kernel configs of different isos. If you want to compile yourself, keep in mind that you HAVE to install one of the suggested ubuntu versions.

Alternatively I might add the drivers to my kernel config and upload an iso somewhere. But my Isos still suck;( I need a lot of help, too:(. P-O I am using a Netgear WG111V2 wireless dongle without any problem (HP dc7700 USDT). I have also used the build in WIFI i a FUJUTSI ESPRIMO M9400 laptop. You can search what type of hardware there are in this two devices. P-O - You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups 'Android-x86' group.
